Sakamoto Days follows Taro Sakamoto, the world's most feared and legendary hitman, who retires from his violent past after falling in love with Aoi, a convenience store clerk. He abandons his life of crime to marry her and have a daughter, living a peaceful life as a store owner. However, this peaceful existence is shattered when old enemies and assassins threaten his newfound family, forcing him to use his deadly skills to protect them.
